Toshi paniagua, PT, DPT, PRPC
Toshi graduated from Bates College in Lewiston, Maine with a bachelor’s degree in Biology. In 2014, she received her Doctor of Physical Therapy from CUNY Graduate Center – Hunter College in New York, New York.
She started practicing in an outpatient orthopaedic clinic in Chicago, Illinois. While there, she was trained in functional manual therapy through the Institute of Physical Art. As her interest and passion for women’s health grew, Toshi took coursework through the Herman & Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute for training in women’s health physical therapy and received her pelvic rehabilitation practitioner certification. Toshi applies a functional manual therapy approach to treating patients with pelvic health conditions. She guides patients toward recovery and healing with a holistic approach. She also uses dry needling techniques to restore muscle function. Toshi’s interests are long-term pelvic pain, neurodynamic dysfunction, bowel/bladder dysfunction and sexual dysfunction.
