Helene Strange, PT, DPT, OCS
Helene graduated from Ithaca College in 2014 with B.S. in Clinical Health Studies and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2016. She started her career within orthopaedics, where she found a special interest in spine, hip and pelvic conditions. In 2018, she became a board-certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties.
Helene began taking coursework through the American Physical Therapy Academy in pelvic health in 2018 and has since completed all coursework in interest of earning her board-certified Women’s Health Clinical specialty. Her interests lie within musculoskeletal disorders, pelvic pain, sexual function, neural entrapments, incontinence, bowel and bladder disorders, and post-partum. She applies a very holistic approach to treatment due to her background in orthopaedics, manual therapy, and Pilates. Her treatment style includes advanced manual therapy techniques, education, and movement strategies to help allow for successful outcomes. Helene is currently an active member of the Pelvic Health Academy of the American Physical Therapy Association, the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy, and the American Urogynecology Society. She enjoys educating other advanced practitioners through these platforms to spread knowledge about pelvic health. Return to Meet Our Team page |
