Toshi Odaira, PT, DPT
Toshi graduated from Bates College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology in 2006. She received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree in 2014 from CUNY Graduate Center/Hunter College. Toshi received additional training in functional manual therapy through coursework taken with the Institute of Physical Art, and as her interest and passion for women’s health grew, she took additional coursework through Herman and Wallace for advanced training in women’s health physical therapy. Toshi applies functional manual therapy to treat patients with various pelvic health conditions and guides patients toward recovery and healing through a holistic approach. She also utilizes dry needling techniques to restore muscle function. Toshi’s clinical interests include chronic pelvic pain, neurodynamic dysfunction, bowel/bladder dysfunction and sexual dysfunction. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association Section on Women’s Health and Section on Orthopaedics.
